A trip to the Burj Khalifa is a must when in Dubai

The world’s tallest building stretches at 830 metres and is an absolute wonder!

Burj meaning Tower and Khalifa is the name of the president of the UAE (the owner of the tower)

It took 6 years to build, with over 12,000 workers from over 100 countries

We visited at the sunset hour which is a little more expensive than the other times of day, however, it’s a perfect time to view Dubai with the clear afternoon skies, followed by watching the city light up beneath you. Taking only 60 seconds to get 125 floors high it’s a true mechanical wonder.

However… in typical Dubai style, already in construction is “The Dubai Creek Tower” which will be over 1000 metres high and owned this time just by Dubai only. Due to be completed in 3 years’ time approximately.

After 7pm, head down to the Dubai Mall (the largest mall in the world) for some retail therapy with over 1200 stores!

End the evening by watching the amazing Dubai Fountains. This part was one of our favourite…. the lights, the music, the atmosphere was just magical and truly a wow moment in life!
